For Him (poem)

I have to take out the garbage, I have to do that alone because I’m on my own. The stars out here ain’t nothing, not like on an island. As numerous as grains of sand, but out there twinklin’. Maybe I wished you. (I wished for you) Maybe I dreamt you all up. (I dreamed for you) Because you’re off the chain, hook, and cuff. God, I wanna kiss you, (kiss you) even when you’re insincere; even when you’re not, I still feel you here. In my mind like a chime or a bad melody. I feel like a child every time you speak to me. (with authority) Can you teach me? (teach me) Your bad English too? (2?) I think I’ll know what to do, as long as I follow you. You make me crazy, (absolutely insane) you make me feel so alive, (cruisin’ my vein) that even in Ohio trashed, I see Hawaiian skies. (((and through your lies))) Lord, I want you. (I want you) Lord, I need you. (I need you) I’ll be so sweet to you because I’m so sweet on you. I’d thrill to squeeze your hand, get on...

Happy Thanksgiving (poem)

Baby, I'm thankful for the air, you breathe the food, you eat; baby, I'm thankful I can see you seeing me knowing that your lap is luxury. That what you speak is pure poetry.  Baby, I'm thankful for your profile. For both your thumbs and every finger, I'm thankful for your eyes that gaze that glaze that graze that last and linger. I'm grateful for your sound mind, your tastes displayed. My heart rings for you as your face's a jewel. I've prayed to God to take this love away, chalk it up to dust and lust. She can scream, she can cry, she can look you in the eye while you both lie, she can say she'll love you until you   die, when every day we all wonder why you stay. Don't throw shade on my serenade when I manufacture marinade for my baby, walkin' swaggin' stately my Don my Trump my Breaking Window     In that house,          I'm your real widow,               ...

Stay (poem)

Family was a mere word to me. Phantamsnial phenomena, distant memory. Phantom nostalgia comes to visit. The affliction? E xquisite.   You can build that Wonderwall You can be a feather and you can be a stone but just stay and say that  I'm home. Whisper into my mouth, keep all the promises. Buy me that painting carve my name in that tree You can yell, you can critique  but please, don't you leave Too. Can't endure the thought of losing, can't stand this emotive of love.   If I can't get your hugs, I'll strive for shoves.   Because indifference can't win. If we did the wrong thing, it'd be my favorite sin. This feels uncanny, your eyes always shine. My hands will get clammy, won't you please be mine? On every Valentine, on every day. Would you waltz this-a-way and be my Michael Walter? Would you come to replenish my soul with your water? I love you like I love all of the music, I love ...

Two of Cups (poem)

It's just tragic we lost our magic over a little hat-trick  and a gun. It's not Zak or Patrick   that lights my matchstick or makes me bolt and run I think about you so far from you and I want to be in The Sun. Now, this other guy, he and I play 'I Spy' and my ex is staying up past 4:00 AM  because he thinks he's Ricky Bobby but I've been besieged by your Lucky Charms Before Reno, before KENO  I spun that fortuitous wheel  only your lips & hips caress & kiss could ever seal this deal. But I think I know  what it is you feel.

DON JON: A Surprisingly Good Movie ***SPOILERS***

Good news everyone, Scarlett Ingrid Johansson can actually act and really did out do herself in the memorable role of Barbara Sugarman!  Joseph Gordan-Levitt wrote such an original contemporary screen play - if he doesn't win some type of award for his kick-ass directing skills, everyone in Hollywood is deaf and blind.  Exciting, multilateral, having a real heart and soul to it that's lacking in most recent film, it still manages to be extremely edgy, still brooding, still serious, so serious, it'll hold your attention long after the end credits have finished, thus I have to recommend it to any movie lover or intellectual.    Really I almost feel like my tweet that DON JON is a mesh of American Psycho  and Harold & Maude is actually kind of an insult to reduce it in that type of summation, it's that good.  I only state there's an  American Psycho  element to...
